With three days in Vancouver, separate the waterfront, North Shore and neighbourhood walks instead of repeatedly crossing the city. This plan assumes three usable days. A late arrival and early departure can leave a two-night stay with much less sightseeing time. Choose your accommodation first, then swap days two and three to suit the weather.<\/p>\n

On day one, follow the same waterfront direction through Canada Place, Coal Harbour and Stanley Park. Spend longer walking in the park if that interests you, or shorten it and visit Gastown. Use the one-day waterfront itinerary<\/a> to select a half-day section rather than importing every alternative into your first day.<\/p>\n

Choose your main North Shore activity before planning day two\u2019s transport. TransLink gives the SeaBus crossing as about 12 minutes<\/a>; walking, waiting and onward buses are additional, and frequency varies. Check the full journey from Waterfront to your destination, not just the time on the water.<\/p>\n

Make Capilano the main stop if it is your priority. The park FAQ<\/a> recommends timed admission and explains mobility restrictions on the elevated attractions. If someone uses a wheelchair or stroller, or dislikes moving bridges, check the areas they can use before buying. Compare tickets, transport and extras for the same date and group.<\/p>\n

Lynn Canyon is an alternative, not an adjacent extra stop. The District\u2019s Ecology Centre access guide<\/a> includes walking after the bus and says the bridge and trails are not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Check park notices, daylight and return travel. If trails do not suit your group, make Lonsdale Quay and rest stops the focus instead.<\/p>\n

Choose Grouse if mountain views are your priority. The operator\u2019s directions<\/a> describe SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay, then bus 236. Arrival at the base still leaves ticketing, ascent and activity time. To combine Grouse and Capilano, first check each opening, booking and transfer; avoid adding Lynn Canyon to the same North Shore day.<\/p>\n

On day three, start with Granville Island, then choose the Kitsilano waterfront or a Main Street neighbourhood walk. Keep flexibility for a city stop missed in rain. If departing that day, work backwards from check-in to allow luggage collection and travel to the station or airport rather than treating the gap as a full afternoon.<\/p>\n

Compare accommodation by its actual address, station access, luggage logistics and evening return. Downtown, Waterfront and Yaletown are city-centre candidates. For Richmond, Burnaby or New Westminster, compare round-trip time alongside the total room price. Further away does not automatically mean cheaper, and \u201cnear SkyTrain\u201d does not describe the whole walk from platform to room.<\/p>\n

In rain, swap the North Shore day with markets, meals or an indoor activity whose opening you have checked. Avoid adding a second full list of stops. Budget separately for accommodation, transport, food, admission and a reserve. Compare tour or shuttle meeting points, return times, cancellation terms and inclusions; platform links do not verify a particular product.
