Trail access, service and attraction hours can change.

For two days in Vancouver, organize the plan by area and treat the North Shore stops as alternatives. Spend one day around the downtown waterfront, Stanley Park and Granville Island, then use the other for one North Shore destination after checking service and opening conditions. Travel times and access can change, so avoid building a fixed timetable that combines every transfer, trail and paid attraction.

Historic view of the Stanley Park Seawall. The City lists the park’s Seawall loop at about 9 km, taking roughly two to three hours on foot. You do not need to complete the loop on a short visit; choose a section that fits your pace. The City also closes sections for winter slope maintenance and posts detours, so check the current Seawall notices rather than relying on an old map or photo. Granville Island’s Public Market is a practical stop for food and browsing, but its hours differ from those of other businesses on the island; check the official market page and business directory for holiday or maintenance exceptions.

On day two, the SeaBus runs from Waterfront to Lonsdale Quay in about 12 minutes, while sailing frequency and first and last departures vary by day and time. Choose one main outing: Lynn Canyon offers a free park and trail option, but park access hours differ from Ecology Centre hours; Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a paid attraction with date-specific entry times and hours; Grouse Mountain’s Skyride and other attractions vary with the season and operating conditions. Confirm the operator’s current information before you go instead of treating these as one short route. Use the TransLink Trip Planner to compare current routes and transfers, then check the SeaBus schedule, Lynn Canyon FAQ, Capilano tickets and hours and Grouse Mountain hours. Transit fares depend on the route, day, time and payment method; SeaBus is not always a fixed one-zone fare. Check TransLink’s fare information instead of relying on an old price.
