Morocco came from behind to beat Haiti 4-2 at Atlanta Stadium in their final Group C match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Haiti struck first when goalkeeper Yassine Bounou turned the ball into his own net in the 10th minute, but captain Achraf Hakimi levelled for Morocco in the 39th. Haiti regained the lead through Wilson Isidor in the 43rd minute, only for Ismael Saibari to make it 2-2 in first-half stoppage time (45+1). Morocco surged after the break: substitute Soufiane Rahimi put the Atlas Lions ahead in the 78th minute, and Gessime Yassine sealed the 4-2 win in the 89th.
The result left Morocco level on seven points with Brazil, but a goal difference of +3 against Brazil’s +6 meant they finished second in Group C, with Brazil topping the group. Scotland placed third on three points, while Haiti bowed out bottom on zero points despite a spirited two-goal display, a rare feat in their World Cup history. As runners-up, Morocco advance to the Round of 32, where they will face Group F winners the Netherlands on 29 June at Estadio BBVA in Monterrey.
