Confederation Bridge charges an axle-based round-trip toll when leaving PEI at Borden-Carleton and requires no reservation. Northumberland Ferries connects Wood Islands, PEI, with Caribou, Nova Scotia, in about 75 minutes and strongly recommends reservations. Parks Canada states that PEI National Park is accessible year-round, while visitor services operate from May to October. Park access does not mean every service operates all year. Check dated facilities, fees and camping arrangements, and plan Green Gables Heritage Place as a separate location rather than treating it as the same coastal-park service.
