Stanley Park has a new destination starting on Canada Day (July 1): an 18-hole mini golf course at 690 Pipeline Rd, on the former site of the Stanley Park Train station, has officially opened to the public. Built by Vancouver-based creative design studio Studio Meanwhile, this temporary installation is a stopgap while the Vancouver Park Board figures out a permanent new use for the site, and it’s expected to run through the fall.
Hours vary by day: Sunday through Wednesday it’s open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., while Thursday through Saturday it stays open until 11 p.m. Pricing runs $16 to $18 CAD for 9 holes (before tax) and $23 to $25 CAD for 18 holes (before tax); a family package (2 adults plus 2 children, or 1 adult plus 3 children) is $90 CAD before tax, with children under 3 admitted free. Exact pricing and package details are subject to on-site or official confirmation.
Beyond the golf itself, there’s live music from DJ Pablo Vinyl Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m., plus a themed “Wonderland Weekend” programmed for weekend afternoons.
