The Italian Day Festival Society says the festival has been held on the second Sunday in June since 2010. Its 2026 theme was Campione, and it described the event as a 14-block celebration on Commercial Drive. These are the organizer’s descriptions. The 2026 edition has ended. Dates, transport arrangements and programming for a future edition should be confirmed in a new announcement from the organizer and the City. The City’s 2026 summer-events guidance told attendees at the time to check road closures and TransLink alerts; that general, dated guidance does not describe current or future service conditions.
