On March 5, 2026, Vancouver’s Host Committee announced the FIFA Fan Festival for the PNE grounds in Hastings Park and described 28 event days between June 11 and July 19; that did not mean daily opening throughout the interval. Its “up to 25,000” figure was a planned site capacity, not verified attendance. Those dates have passed. This article reviews the published plan and rules; announcements are not an operations audit. The organisers distinguished free general entry from paid premium experiences. Free access remained subject to capacity and first-come admission; it was not a reserved seat and did not include free refreshments. Announced screenings, performances and food offerings do not prove that every one of the 104 matches was shown or that every event day had identical programming. Advertised arrangements and records of actual delivery are different evidence. An event page remaining online does not make the programme available today. City of Vancouver Host Committee. The host committee’s transport page still treats the PNE Fan Festival and BC Place as separate destinations. As retrieved for this review, it lists a taxi and ride-hail zone at PNE Lot 7, reached from North Renfrew Street, and recommends Gate 10 for those users. It describes parking as very limited, paid and first-come, subject to daily lot capacity. This records what the page says; it does not prove every arrangement operated as planned. The event has ended, so this is not current travel advice. City of Vancouver Host Committee.

Festival rules prohibited ordinary lawn chairs and outside food or drinks, with specified exceptions for mobility aids, special dietary requirements and infant foods. Only certified guide and service dogs were permitted. Free general-admission visitors could re-enter only if capacity allowed, without priority; premium tickets had separate same-day re-entry guarantees. Outdoor or free access did not automatically permit picnics, pets or a guaranteed return, and these rules did not govern every community screening. Vancouver Host Committee.

A historical viewing reference should distinguish dates, entry gates, seats, ticket types and transport. The organisers’ programme and capacity announcements describe plans, not a complete attendance or operations audit. For the same tournament’s South Flats and bar arrangements, see the Vancouver off-stadium viewing review; each venue had its own admission and refreshments rules. A new gathering today requires that new event’s information, rather than temporary measures from the completed World Cup. City of Vancouver Host Committee. City of Vancouver Host Committee.
